Mission
My mission is to bring beauty and peace to your home. I want to help you solve your decorating challenge — whether it be what color to paint the walls, how to blend “his” and “hers” or “old” and “new”, how to decorate your new home or simply give your current space a fresh look.
My feeling is that any decorator can design a beautiful room — my goal is to make sure that it functions specifically for the needs of your family and that it reflects your style!
And, when it is time to move, I can help you prepare your home for market — staging it to appeal to the broadest target audience.
So, whether you are ready for a new look or model home appeal, I can help! Call me today at 252-355-5504.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Bio
Denise Montgomery is the President/Owner of Mais Oui! Redesign, LLC. After successfully staging two of her own homes and selling them to the first buyers that came through the door for close to full asking price, she decided to start a company to help others prepare their homes to sell quickly and for the maximum return on their investment.
While researching the then new field of home staging, she discovered interior redesign, a decorating concept that honors the treasures that the client already owns. Here was her opportunity to combine her life-long passion for home decorating and excellent customer service!
Denise is a Director of The Society of Decorating Professionals (The SDP) and is nationally Certified in Redesign, Staging and Color. Her talents and expertise have been showcased in East Alabama Living, Flair, and Southern Views magazines. Denise has been a popular presenter at The SDP’s annual conferences and webinars.
As an SDP Certified Trainer, Denise loves to coach and mentor other aspiring decorating professionals through Mais Oui! RedesignU — Mais Oui! Redesign’s training division. Mais Oui! RedesignU offers a 5-day Professional Redesign-Stager course which leads to dual SDP certifications in both Redesign and Staging.
Denise’s diverse background includes executive/administrative positions in association management, human resources and corporate administration including special event planning for conferences, management seminars, and company-wide meetings and outings. Her experience as a Kentucky real estate agent has equipped her to effectively work with home sellers and their real estate agents. Denise earned her B.A. in Christian Education from Wheaton College in Illinois.
A native of northern Virginia, Denise has lived in the Chicago area, Louisville, Kentucky, Auburn, Alabama and is now located in Greenville, North Carolina. Her “corporate gypsy” experience, due to her husband Mark’s engineering career, allows her to empathize with clients as they prepare to sell their house and/or as they settle into a new home.
A breast cancer survivor, Denise is deliberate about living each day to its fullest and about bringing joy to others by creating beautiful living spaces and encouraging others to reach their own goals as professional decorators specializing in redesign and staging.
Her goal is that at the end of each redesign every client can say “Mais Oui!” or “Yes, of course . . . this is what I’ve always dreamt my home would be like!”
