1. What does Mais Oui mean and how is it pronounced?

Mais Oui is a French expression for an emphatic "yes, of course". The literal translation into English is "but yes". Mais Oui is pronounced "may we".
 

2. Why Mais Oui! Redesign?

Just as I want your home to reflect your style when I'm done with the redesign, I wanted my company name to reflect my personality and the quality of my work. The name Mais Oui! Redesign allows me to ask you, "May we redesign your home?" before we start and allows you to tell me "Mais Oui!" or "Yes, of course ...this is what I've always dreamt my home would be like" when the process is complete.
 

3. What is Interior Redesign?

Interior redesign is a relatively new process that allows your living space to be given an entirely new look in one day, using the treasured belongings that you already own, without the designer fees, mess or wait. Learn more here!
 

4. What is Staging? Will it really help me sell my home?

Staging your home prior to selling it allows buyers to see beyond your family and furnishings and really focus on the best attributes of your house. Staged homes typically sell faster and at higher price than comparable non-staged homes. Learn more here!
 

5. When should I call Mais Oui! Redesign for help?

6. How much do your services cost?

An interior redesign can cost less than the price of a new sofa and staging fees are typically less than the cost of your first price reduction!

7. What geographic area does Mais Oui! Redesign service?

Mais Oui! Redesign is based in Greenville, North Carolina. I am happy to service all areas within about an hour and a half of Greenville, including the Cyrstal Coach beach communities.
 

8. Are you an interior designer?

I am not an interior designer. If you are looking for traditional interior design services for designing your room and purchasing custom furniture and window treatments or want to remodel a kitchen or room, then I'm not the person you want to talk to. If, however, you want a fresh, new look at a reasonable cost using the treasured belongings that you already own, contact me!
 

9. So what are your credentials?

My most important credential is my passion for helping my clients create the home environments that they've always dreamt of. I want your home to reflect your family, your interests and your style. Unless, of course, we are staging your home for resale . . . then we have a different goal to help convince the buyer that your house is the home they've always wanted! I am a Charter Member of The Society of Decorating Professionals (The SDP) and recently became an SDP Certified Trainer in Interior Redesign and Home Staging. I am also nationally Certified in Interior Redesign through both The Society of Decorating Professionals and the Interior Redesign Industry Specialists. Having completed two staging courses from two different organizations with unique approaches to the field, I am also an SDP Certified Stager. 10. Are you insured?

Yes, I carry liability insurance and am bonded.
 

11. I would love to do what you do. How do I become a Professional Home Stager or an Interior Redesigner?

Because I've met so many women who have the same passion that I do for interior decorating, I have opened a training division called Mais Oui! RedesignU. Mais Oui! RedesignU exists to equip you to have the confidence and skills you need to successfully start your career in Redesign and Home Staging. I regularly teach a a two-day course in Professional Home Staging. This SDP approved seminar is offered in Auburn, Alabama in 2007 and in Greenville, North Carolina on an ongoing basis.I also offer a five-day Professional Redesigner-Stager training course that leads to certification as both a redesigner and stager.
